Sudbury, ON. NORCAT is honoured and proud to announce that CEO Don Duval has been named Executive of the Year at the 2019 Bell Business Excellence Awards held in Sudbury, Ontario on May 23rd, 2019. The Executive of the Year award recognizes a senior level individual in the private or public sector who, through involvement in business, professional associations and community service, has had a significant impact on the City of Greater Sudbury.
Duval, who became NORCAT’s CEO in 2012 after previously serving as Vice President of Strategy and Operations at the MaRS Discovery District, has transformed the organization to become a global, multi-faceted enterprise focused on providing programs, services and resources to prepare current and future workers and tech entrepreneurs with the right skills, competencies and confidence to succeed.

More than 400 people attended the ceremonies, hosted by the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce. Now in its 22nd year, the annual awards gala recognizes and celebrates the achievements and contributions of Sudbury businesses and highlights the positive impacts they have on the community.
